Website Owners

Before submitting your website, please read and understand the submission guidelines (see below). Submitted sites that do not follow these guidelines will be immediately rejected. Our editorial staff will visit your site and navigate around. Please make sure that your site is complete before submitting.

We offer several types of web site submissions:

• Regular Links - These are the most cost effective submissions and are displayed in their respective category. Approval time is usually 2-3 weeks.
• Express Links - These are the same as regular links, however approval time is 24-48 hours. Use this option if you need a quick listing.
• Featured Links - Sites that are submitted as featured links are displayed at the top of their category. Featured links also have the chance of being displayed on the home page as a Featured Site of the Day. Use this option if you would like more visibility for your site, along with quick approval.

Visitors

The eMelody Link Directory strives to list only quality sites (sites that actually add something to the internet overall), and place them in the most appropriate category.

The Melody Meter

You will notice that each site listing has a vote button, and a meter, ranking the site from 0 to 10. The ranking is based on the number of votes accumulated by each site, the category that the site resides in, and a number of other metrics. As you look around, or submit your site, please take time to vote for sites that you find interesting. Note that you may vote for your own site. As the ranking of a site improves, the Melody Meter will reflect the raking visually.


Submission Guidelines - Please Read!

1. Submit titles and descriptions matching your website name only (for basic and reciprocal listings) and only in English.
2. All links listed in the directory are permanent listings and will not expire.
3. Only featured and premium listings will be allowed for top-category submissions.
4. Do not submit links to affiliate programs or web sites that only contain affiliate links.
5. Write good, quality descriptions. Submissions that contain too many errors or bad grammar will be rejected.
6. Submit the top-level domain of your website only, this is to ensure the best web surfing experience for users.
7. Capitalize the first letter of each sentence in titles, descriptions as well as proper nouns.
8. Submissions that contain fields in all UPPER CASE or all lower case will be deleted.
9. Submissions will be rejected if your website is (a) Made for Google Adsense (MFA) content only, (b) incomplete, under construction or redirects visitors to an unrelated destination, (c) excessive keyword stuffing and (d) failure to submit to the correct category. Websites rejected because of these reasons will not be refunded.
10. We reserve the right to edit, delete or move your website submission to the proper category whenever deemed necessary.
11. Do not submit sites that have adult content or is in any way related to pornography. These sites will be rejected.
12. Any sites submitted that are related to illegal activity will be rejected. Online pharmacies, sites that may violate copyright law and violent/hate sites will be rejected. Editorial staff at eMelody.net reserves the right to reject any site for any reason.
